àrea 3 (Argentina-Spain)
The Barcelona collective of multimedia artists made up of people of
the most diverse backgrounds will show their latest works and their
personal and artistic connection with Europe.
Joystick (Colombia)
This group of Colombian artists will present their installations and
production on the Internet and in the public space, and will review
the role they have in protecting and disseminating the multimedia cultural
heritage in their country.
Eric Olivares (Mexico)
This designer, performer and newmedia art artist will show his work
in different branches of the audiovisual medium as well as explaining
his experience in teaching these disciplines in Mexico and Barcelona.

We Are The True Clowns/ OFFF (Mexico-Spain)
This collective of multicultural multimedia creators, organisers of
the OFFF Festival, will present their future projects and speak of their
experience in promoting knowledge of Latin American artists in Europe.
Vaina Systems (Mexico-Colombia)
A platform of projects by Eugenio Tisselli and José Lozano which
immerses us in their creative process using their own software tools
and hardware, and in their work with high-tech multimedia installations.
Random Studios (Argentina)
Directed by Sebastián Seifert, who will present his projects
and cultural activities, installations, net-art and various experiences
with interactive mediums.
Moderator of the sessions: Antoni Mercader,
media art historian, professor of the University of Barcelona.
From 1 to 6 June

Looped screenings of videos of the interviews made with the artists
and selected at random, together with a link to the website containing
complementary information about the conferences and offering virtual
access to a database with other Latin American digital artists.
