ABOUT

“μruguay” acts as the metamorphosis of the river when its course flows out and transforms into the sea. The artist composes the audiovisual alchemy of that liminal instant: when fresh waters lose their name but gain a new existence. Macro visuals of moving fluids dance in synchrony with the music. The synthesizers evoke the immensity of the encounter, and the rhythm contains all the energy of the river that was. The continuous bass is the tide: pulsations that expand and contract with oceanic slowness. The result is a liquid audiovisual polyphony, as hypnotic as it is unstable, like listening to the memory of these waters.
